In PowerMetrics, by default, the first day of the week for accounts is set to Monday. Account administrators can modify this account-wide setting to change how weekly date ranges (like "This week" or "Last week") and weekly periodicity data are calculated and displayed.
Prerequisites: You must be an Account Administrator to change the first day of week settings.
If you're using a direct-to-warehouse, semantic layer, or dbt Semantic Layer data source, your account's "first day of week" setting must match the setting configured in your underlying data warehouse or project. If these settings don't align, weekly data will not display correctly in PowerMetrics.
To change the first day of the week:
- Click the
button in the left navigation sidebar and select Settings. - Select General from the left-hand menu.
- Locate the Start of Week (PowerMetrics Only) section and click Edit.
- Click the drop-down menu and select the day you want to use as your new start of the week.
- Click Save.
