This article describes the administrative experience for customers using the most recent version of PowerMetrics.
Don't see the
button in your left navigation sidebar? This means you're using our legacy design. To access the settings described in this article, click your Account name (located at the bottom of the left navigation sidebar).
The access point for all administrative settings is the
button located in the left navigation sidebar. You'll also find shortcuts here for the most common administrative actions. (See below.)

Note: The admin area is shared between our PowerMetrics and Klips products. As such, you may see some settings that are not applicable to the product you use. For example, user properties and company properties apply to Klips, not PowerMetrics. This article only describes items that are relevant for PowerMetrics users.
Viewing and managing account settings
Clicking Account opens the Account page, where you view and manage account-wide settings, such as the account #, company name, primary contacts, and billing. This is also where you can delete the company account.

Viewing and changing your pricing plan
Clicking Plan opens the Plan page, where you can view and make changes to your current plan.

Configuring general settings
Clicking Settings opens the Settings page, where you configure branding and themes, security options (such as password and multi-factor authentication requirements, lockout details, IP range restrictions, and published views), and general settings (such as time zone, date locale, start of week, AI Assistant access and system prompt, information about the MCP server integration, and granting access to our Support Team). Depending on your account type and setup, you may also access single sign-on and domain alias settings here.

Managing account connections
Clicking Connections opens your list of connected accounts, where you can view, rename, share, re-authorize, and delete connections to services.

Managing tags
Clicking Tag management opens a dialog for managing asset tags for the account, where you can add, edit, view, and delete tags for the account.

Managing users
Clicking Users opens your list of users, where you can view, add, or delete users. You can also enter information for each user, including their first and last name and email address. Group and role membership is managed here on a per user basis. This is also where you configure sign-in options and multi-factor authentication for each user.

Viewing and managing personal settings
Clicking My profile provides access to personal settings, for example, your first and last name, email address, password, and User ID. This is also where you can switch your sign-in type, enable or disable multi-factor authentication, view your current API key or generate a new API Key, and manage group membership.
Managing roles and permissions
Clicking Account and then selecting Roles, opens the Roles page, where you can add or remove users for each role. You can also view the permissions associated with each role. Note: The default roles that are included in Klipfolio cannot be edited or deleted.

Managing groups
Clicking Account and then selecting Groups, opens the Groups page, where you can add and delete groups, edit group names and descriptions, see which data feeds are shared with a group, and manage group membership (see which users are in a group and add users to or remove them from a group).

Monitoring limits for your account
Clicking Account and then selecting Activity gives you access to your event logs. To view and monitor account usage and limits, click the Usage button in the left navigation sidebar.

Accessing Klipfolio products
Clicking Account and then selecting Products takes you to the active products page where you can access all Klipfolio products, including PowerMetrics, Klips, and MetricHQ.
If you have access to both Klips and PowerMetrics, you can switch between them by selecting the
button > Products.
Returning to product
When you're ready to exit the administration area and return to the product, click Back to PowerMetrics at the top of the left navigation sidebar.
